Before repair

The important bits first.

You approve the repair

A booking request or inspection is not a final repair order until the quotation, scope, timing, and applicable charges are accepted.

You must be authorised

You confirm that you own the device or have permission from the owner to request diagnosis, pickup, repair, and testing.

Back up your data

You are responsible for backing up, removing, or protecting personal data before repair. Some tests may require device access.

Warranty has limits

Repair warranty applies only to eligible parts and workmanship provided by Fixeefy and excludes unrelated faults, physical damage, liquid damage, misuse, or third-party repair.

1. Scope of these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Fixeefy's website, customer app, technician app, booking flow, repair tracking, doorstep mobile repair services, pickup and delivery coordination, quotations, invoices, warranty support, and related support services.

By using Fixeefy, creating a booking, accepting a quotation, submitting a device for inspection or repair, or using the technician app, you agree to these terms and any in-app notices, booking-specific terms, warranty terms, payment terms, and privacy notices shown to you.

2. Eligibility and account use

You must provide accurate account, contact, address, device, and booking information. Fixeefy may rely on the phone number, email address, OTP verification, and app activity associated with your account.

Customers must be legally able to request repair services. Technicians may use the technician app only if approved by Fixeefy and only for assigned operational work.

You are responsible for activity under your account and must keep OTPs, login sessions, and device access secure.

3. Device ownership and repair authorization

When you submit a device for diagnosis, pickup, inspection, quotation, or repair, you confirm that you are the device owner or an authorised representative of the owner.

You authorise Fixeefy and its assigned technicians to inspect, handle, open where required, test, photograph, diagnose, repair, replace parts, and make reasonable changes to the device to provide the requested service.

Fixeefy may refuse service if ownership, authorisation, device condition, serviceability, technician safety, payment status, or legal compliance cannot be reasonably verified.

4. Bookings, diagnosis, and quotations

A booking request confirms your interest in service. It does not guarantee technician availability, part availability, exact repair time, final price, or successful repair.

Initial prices shown online or in-app may be estimates. Final quotations may change after physical inspection, device testing, part verification, model verification, hidden damage, previous repair history, liquid exposure, board-level issues, or customer-requested changes.

If additional paid work is required, Fixeefy will try to notify you and request approval before proceeding. If you reject a revised estimate, we may return the device unrepaired and may charge applicable diagnosis, pickup, delivery, or visit fees if disclosed.

5. Doorstep visits, pickup, and delivery

Doorstep visits, pickup, and delivery depend on service area, technician availability, traffic, weather, safety conditions, part availability, and operational capacity.

An adult or authorised person should be present at the service location. You must provide safe access to the location and accurate address/contact details.

Fixeefy may reschedule, cancel, or refuse doorstep service where the location is unsafe, inaccessible, outside service coverage, incorrectly entered, or where the technician cannot verify the booking.

6. Repair process, parts, and testing

Fixeefy aims to perform repairs with reasonable skill and care. Repairs are subject to the availability and suitability of parts, tools, device condition, and technical feasibility.

Depending on the device and service, Fixeefy may use compatible, aftermarket, refurbished, reconditioned, OEM-equivalent, or original parts where available and agreed. Part labels, alerts, or settings messages may appear on some devices after repair.

Some repairs require device testing before and after service. If you do not provide the passcode, remove device locks, disable relevant security features, or allow test access, Fixeefy may be unable to fully verify functions such as display, touch, camera, speaker, microphone, charging, network, Face ID/Touch ID, sensors, or battery health.

7. Repair risks and data responsibility

Mobile devices may have hidden faults, liquid exposure, weak frames, swollen batteries, prior repair damage, board-level damage, paired components, software locks, or brittle parts that create repair risk.

You are responsible for backing up data, removing confidential files, removing SIM and memory cards where practical, signing out of sensitive accounts if needed, and preserving any data before submitting the device.

Fixeefy is not responsible for loss, corruption, disclosure, or restoration of device data, apps, passwords, photos, messages, files, settings, wallet data, two-factor codes, or software unless caused by wilful misconduct proven under applicable law.

8. Warranty and exclusions

Where a repair warranty is provided, it applies only to the specific part replaced or service performed by Fixeefy, for the warranty period stated on the invoice, app, quotation, or warranty note.

Warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, corrosion, misuse, accidental damage, tampering, third-party repair, customer-supplied parts, unrelated faults, software issues, data loss, consumables, pre-existing damage, motherboard or board-level defects unless expressly covered, or issues caused by another component.

Warranty claims require inspection by Fixeefy. If the device condition shows exclusion signs, the claim may be rejected or quoted as a fresh paid repair.

9. Payments, invoices, cancellations, and refunds

You agree to pay all accepted charges, including repair charges, parts, diagnosis fees, visit fees, pickup or delivery charges, taxes, convenience fees, cancellation fees, or other disclosed charges.

Payment may be required before repair, before device return, or at another stage communicated through the app, invoice, technician, or support team.

Refunds, if any, depend on the payment method, repair stage, part procurement, technician visit, diagnosis work, and whether the service has already been performed. Approved refunds may take time to reflect through banks or payment providers.

10. Privacy, location, photos, and repair records

Fixeefy collects and uses personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, including account details, phone/email, addresses, booking data, device details, issue descriptions, repair photos, technician location, notifications, invoices, support records, and payment status.

Technician location may be used for availability, route, assigned job progress, and customer live tracking during active service flows. Camera/gallery access may be used for inspection and repair evidence.

By using Fixeefy services, you agree that repair records, photos, notes, invoices, warranty records, and job status updates may be stored and used for service fulfilment, quality, fraud prevention, warranty, support, and legal compliance.

11. App rules and prohibited conduct

You must not misuse the website or apps, bypass role-based access, impersonate another person, submit false bookings, abuse technicians or customers, interfere with payments, upload illegal content, reverse engineer the apps, scrape data, or attempt unauthorised access.

Technicians must not falsify checklists, location, photos, job status, payments, invoices, customer consent, parts usage, or service notes. Misuse may lead to suspension, removal, payment hold, legal action, or reporting to authorities.

Fixeefy may suspend or terminate access where it reasonably believes these terms, service policies, safety requirements, or law have been breached.

12. Liability, force majeure, and governing law

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fixeefy's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Fixeefy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, business, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity losses.

Fixeefy is not responsible for delays or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, including traffic, weather, accidents, strikes, internet or telecom outages, power failures, platform outages, government action, part shortages, payment provider outages, or safety issues.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection rights, courts and competent forums in Hyderabad, Telangana will have jurisdiction over disputes related to Fixeefy services.
